Where has the time disappeared,,
2011, was an eventful year busy with the display team limited our other activities, so our racing activities were restricted to the BMF MOPED MAYHEM and the Grampian motorcycle convention moped race, both of which we got reasonable placings. the F1 took a heavy tumble at mallory during a practice session, which left it out of the game for the remainder of the year.. now fixed ready for 2012
2009 is nearly upon us, change of direction for next year, we have acquired a F1 sidecar outfit powered by a R1 engine, needs some bodywork doing over the winter, but should be ready for testing early feb, so the intention is run it in a few races, not decided on which series yet, we will certainly not have time to do a full years racing due to the display team commitments and the ural riders challenge championship (see URCC link)
2006 proved to be very busy attending shows/charity events so the racing took a bit of a side seat, but what off-roading we managed was all good fun using our two wheel drive unit we acquitted ourselves very well , so forward to 2007
the intention is to have a change of direction in 2007 and build a kneeler sidecar outfit using a pre 1972 ural/dnepr engine and running gear to allow us to have a few races in the classic sidecar series,, watch this space
after many delays due to other commitments our 650cc two wheel drive outfit is now finished and being tested, 2005 should provide us with some good testing sessions and races leading us up to the weston beach race later in the year. watch this space
our first attempt at racing a standard Ural gearup proved
so successful
