Ural Riders Challenge Championship
We specialize in ural flat twin motorcycles/sidecars from Russia, Dnepr motorbikes/sidecars from the Ukraine, overhead valve and sidevalve versions. Over the years these bikes have been known under various names, cossacks, nevals, urals, uralmoto, dnepr, IMZ, KMZ
Through out 2009 we will be running various challenge events, participants may enter all of the events or only those which interest them. Its a bit of fun, but can be taken seriously if you wish to. Each event will be run with a points scoring system, leading to a event winner, plus an overall champion at the end of all the events.

POINTS SCORING. Each event winner 25 points, 2nd 20 points, 3rd 15 points, 4th 10 points, 5th 9 points, 6th 8 points and so on
1. green lane trial, (full day) all routes have been ridden by us on single wheel drive ural outfits with road tyres, there are some challenging sections, a bit of mud, deep ruts, water, a couple of fords, nothing that cant be surmounted with a bit of advance thinking... (route may alter according to state of lanes and depth of fords)... each entrant will be given a detailed route guide,(sidecar passenger is most useful as navigator and ballast) start time will be in five minute intervals, there will be several control points to make sure your on the right route... fasted time is the overall winner. entry cost per outfit will be £10
2. sidecar paint balling, (half a day)this will be done in heats, 4 sidecars in the arena at once, winner is the last sidecar still rolling. rules.. not many, No headshots(headshots not counted), three shots required to disable the outfit, driver/engine/sidecar gunner, engine shot is considered to be a hit within the circle on sidecar front nose, driver shot is torso or arms, gunner shot is torso or arms. once driver or engine is shot, sidecar is stopped, gunner can carry on firing. once gunner is shot. firing is stopped but sidecar can carry on until disabled. winner and second place move to next heat. entry cost per outfit will be £25 (helmets with visors or goggles must be worn by both rider and monkey)
